About me

I am proud to be the daughter of a Millrat - my Dad was a foreman at USS Gary Works. I have a Catholic spine thanks to my sainted widowed mother who also instilled in me the importance of giving back to the community.

I am fiercely protective of individual rights, especially pertaining to religion and women. As a Chaplain and an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, my faith guides me to respect all paths. As a die-hard Cubs fan, I maintain hope. And hope is a good thing.
